HBP Warnings

So in my game earlier there were several batters hit with pitches (a few intentional on my part) and both dugouts were warned. However, after the warning there were 4 more hit batters with zero repercussions. Found that odd.

Re: HBP Warnings

IRL, pitchers get tossed after the 2nd hit batter if I remember right. I played a game where 3 batters out of 5 got HBP and nothing happened.

Re: HBP Warnings

From what I've seen, the game treats this right.

If I plunk a guy deliberately, I get warned.

I've had numerous plunks with Randy Johnson on running sliders that got away in which I wasn't warned or tossed.

Re: HBP Warnings

To clarify, there were 6 total batters hit in the game. 4 were by me and they were all intentional, even after the warnings.

Re: HBP Warnings

This game is horrible whwn it comes to ejections and warnings. I've hit players 3x in a row (throwing sliders in) not so called intentional and nothing, no warning, no ejection.

Franchise SIM is dead. Find your favorite iterations and play it forever. Card games are whats "now" and games will cater in that direction and forget realism.

Just have fun and play :)

It makes no sense to even have ejections as an option when nothing happens, I believe in MLB 18 they had it where if you plunked like 3 guys they would show you your bullpen bc you have to replace the P (aka ejection)

IRL it doesn't matter if it was intentional or not. There is really no way for an umpire to determine that. But I've never seen a warning either.

I will mention this is in MoM, but that still doesn't explain how it never warned that pitcher who hit the 3 out of 5 batters.

Unless you directly place the pitching cursor on the batter, the game will not issue warnings or eject pitchers for hitting a batter. Its user based only, meaning only the user, at least in all my experience, can have pitchers ejected for purposely hitting batters.
