NBA 2K21 Shooting Technique Fix: Guarantees GREEN on 75%+ on your shots. EVEN on HOF

I've been using this technique with my subs and 2K League players I work with. The improvement on your chances to green is dramatic. I want to get as large as a sample size on this as possible. Please try it out for me and give me feedback here. Thank you !

I suspect this works because I have noticed that if you have the right stick deflected at all when you go into the shot, the game picks that up and reflects it in your starting position on the meter. (same with a layup, if you start a layup on the right, the starting position of the pointer will be all the way to the right). By pushing up you are effectively setting the right stick to centered before starting your shot.

I think the hard part here is anticipating receiving the ball. Works well for catch and shoot when you are spotted up, but in other situations it'll be hard to pull this off. In previous years as important as catch and shoot is, the real necessity especially for creative guards is to shoot off the dribble.

Of course Sam knows a million times more about NBA 2k than I do, just my 2 cents.

No no you are absolutely correct about the method. As for off the dribble shots i found a way to use the DFS with it too you just need the right dribble moves. I will post that tutorial once I finish with it.

I tried it and it didn't work nearly as well for me as just aiming plus timing your release of the stick. That alone has brought me to about 50 percent because I'm fairly consistently getting the stick in the tan window anyway.

If this technique is consistent, they might as well could have just sticked to last years shot timing system. Because the "challenge" here will be timing again instead of aiming...

This isn’t working and idk this game to me seem broken. And I am the last one to complain but this isn’t working out and I’m piss. Supposedly the hot fix came out I don’t see a difference. Is it bad to use the button to shoot what happens to that

Did you try this work on Xbox one? I tried to see if it work and it did not work for me on Xbox one. I just went in practice with Dame. I only green when it is on the line as normal. So when I was very close to the line it didn't green like your video.
