Does anybody else have a problem with the putting meter seemingly getting stuck and you pull back 2 or 3 times Before it works? I love the game but the putting meter almost makes it unplayable.

I have seen some funky things with the putt meter. As crazy as it sounds, plug in a wired headset to your controller. I saw somewhere that this was a workaround on the putting meter. It really works for me. Makes no sense, just try it.

I did use an older controller and that is seeming to work better as well.

I've read some reports of this happening to people playing the PS4 version. Is that the platform on which you are playing? I play with the meters off on the XBox One X version, but I never notice any difficulty getting the putting stroke started.

The work around using the headphone plugged into the controller to fix this is a mind blower. I can't imagine what would cause that!?
