Goal line run d

Last year it was extremely difficult to run it in for a short TD. Now it seems to have gone the other way, and it is an automatic rushing TD if the cpu or I get near the goal line.

This happens even when I lower the sliders to give a normal ypc both ways.

Anyone else have this problem?

On default all-pro I don’t feel like it’s automatic. I have actually been stuffed quite frequently. If the defense comes out in a pass formation and you run it, then yes it is near automatic. You have to have house rules. You can’t come out in a passing formation and switch to a zone run to “game” the defense. The only time I will audible to the run from a passing play call is if the CPU is obviously cheating and knows what I called

To be fair in real life it’s automatic most the time as well. That’s why a goal line stop is considered so impressive. I don’t feel like it’s OP or anything.

Goal line is the only time I will use the guess run feature. Pretty much you have to sell out to stop the run which is what defenses do anyway. It's why PA on the goal line typically always works in real life.

I’m still playing 20, but in my most recent game it was anything but easy to stop a goal line run, mostly because I was called for four or five face masks in the same goal line stand. Blew a 21-0 lead in the Super Bowl after getting called for 18 face masks and roughing the passer penalties in the game (normal with my slider set is 2-3).
