Madden 21 CFM (vs AI) House Rules

I thought this might make for a useful thread as I'm finding ways to deepen the CFM experience, albeit a bit manually.

Here are some of what I'm using:

*Owner mode. Let coach recommend plays, set scheme, decide on weekly training, etc. I set my depth charts though.

*Broadcast camera.

*Simulate all training and let coach decide. I do set the focus players though.

*Although I set my depth charts, I won't do anything the AI seemingly won't do, such as starting OL out of their direct position group (backups are fine as the AI does).

*Not changing a player's position, not even a left to right.

What else are people using? Does anyone use any of these I mentioned?

I'll say that instead of not changing player positions or making Oline swaps for my team, I just make those changes for the CPU teams too. It's better for all teams to make smart decisions that improve their squad.

I take this approach as well. I'll manicure other teams rosters, division rivals especially, to ensure balance and make it harder on me.

I have played probably a dozen seasons of Madden 20 and not a single playoff win, I keep restarting my franchise year 3 or 4 before the the around. I'm hoping to finally allow myself to enjoy a rebuild to a super bowl this time around

*No switch on defense after the ball is snapped. No control of the WR until after the ball is caught.

That seems tedious, no? How long does it take? Do you create a profile for each team?

I don't have to create a profile, I just go in and edit their players in their roster.
