Franchise save file lost

After the new patch my Franchise save file somehow got overridden into a new start Franchise. It is pretty frustrating as I was already a few games into the season. Has anyone else had this happen? This happened after the last patch.

I wanted to ask here before reporting a "bug" as, even though it is unlikely, I wanted to make sure there wasn't a user error on my part before reporting a bug.

Thanks,

Re: Franchise save file lost

I usually just power down into rest mode and never reboot much until just this morning and saw what you do. Yeah, it's renamed all of my franchise saves as just the date 01/01/01. I figured out that my latest save was the one far left. So, left to right from latest save to longest ago save.

If u have PSN and your saves should save to the online storage.

Try checking your online storage.

I figured out the glitch. (And i did check my online saves and don't see them there.)

It appears that since the last patch if you have to quit during a game and then choose not resume it when you come back to it the save resets back to preseason. Definitely frustrating but I'll report that now and until we hear of a fix I'll make sure I don't start a game I don't intend on finishing. I have sometimes started a game to just see a few match ups before I have to leave but now I'll keep from doing that.

Re: Franchise save file lost

Glad to see u narrowed it down. Have u ever thought about a online franchise by yourself. When playing and u cant finish no saving involved you just quit vs CPU and u can resume that same game next time you play.

Yeah. You use to could to that with a non-online Franchise save as well. This new bug is why you can't now.

I did consider starting an online one this go around but honestly I like being able to decide to run a second team if I want. If EA would ever allow us to play any match up in the season we wanted I'd only play online.

I thought you had to have a different gamer profile to do that. I know in a past version you did and that's why I got away from Online Franchise.
