Next-Gen PC?

Does anyone know if PC is getting anything when Next-Gen comes out?

EA has announced that if you purchased Madden on current gen and you buy the new XBox or PS5 you get the upgrade for free.

Most peoples gaming PC's are better than even the new Consoles coming out, the graphics, memory and other system limitations don't exist on PC's that a lot of the current gen consoles have.

So since they are getting a free game upgrade when the purchase the new console are they going to release a "better" version of the PC game or are we stuck with the current game which is the equivalent of the current gen console?

We are stuck with the current game until next year.

maybe more. In the past PC games (including fifa) were like 2 or 3 years behind. Consoles were using new engine while PC were still being ported from the old engine. don't remember the year though. i think it was with xbox360 and ps3

Yeah PC version of "next gen" is out of the question. At this point I am starting to doubt that there will even be an XSX/PS5 update for Madden 21. The biggest addition that will stop the update to PC will be ray traced lighting. The consoles will have the hardware to produce ray tracing and even though the newest Nvidia cards will do it easily, the saturation of those cards into mainstream PC's is low compared to the saturation that the new consoles will have. EA is too damn cheap to put effort into a PC "next gen" patch that is optimized for Nvidia video cards, they are optimizing for the AMD RDNA 2 graphics chips in the new consoles.
