New Madden 21 PS4 Sim League starting after big title update drops. Team selection will be a draft using a randomizer to determine order. Activity and streaming incentives. The expectation is for guys to play sim football and WANT TO. We have rules but we don't want to have to even look at them. We want players who want to play the game a certain way. If you are a METAhead player, a MUT style player, a Tournament style player, a stretch dive player, an escape artist dependent player, this league is not for you.
Willing to merge with an already established core group. League will be run in Discord. Rules are below and are subject to change. Will welcome any suggestions to help improve the league.

League Rules (Subject to change with Madden 21 META)
Overview: This league is going to be played away from the Madden META. We want players who we do not have to police and who *WANT* to play within rules of sim football. Here for football and not Madden. We are not trying to stop just cheating, but also corny playstyles in general. We want a league full of unique, balanced players.
Gameplay Rules
No chewing/milking clock UNLESS:
You are inside 2 minute warning.
You are winning/losing by 28+.
When up by 28 points or more, put an emphasis on running the ball and moving the chains. Do not try to pad stats.
Must Rush 3 Defenders AT ALL TIMES. Defenders in QB Spy DO NOT COUNT as a rusher. Defenders in QB Contain DO COUNT as a rusher.
Motion Snapping on pass plays is allowed**.**
No Glitches (NANO Blitzes, and all other published Madden Community Glitches). Admin will decide if something sketchy is a glitch or not. Popular Madden Money plays will likely be banned upon discovery.
If you want a fast LB, then go trade for one or pay for one. To put a Safety in at the SUBLB slot he must be:
· 225+ lbs
· 87 spd max
7. You can only run the same play 6x a game on OFFENSE. You can only run the same complex blitz (a blitz with multiple adjustments made) on defense 4x a game. Only the following plays can be run more than 6x on Offense (subject to change):
· Four Verts
· Inside Zone
8. You can NOT snap and bail out of the pocket unless:
· It is in the play art (like a rollout screen).
· The pocket breaks down.
9. Each user has 1 Coaches Decision to go for it on 4th down at any point in the game. It does not have be an offensive formation play. If you come out in an offensive formation, it counts as your coaches decision. If you pick the wrong play instead of punting on 4th down, you must call a timeout and select to Punt, without faking the snap or any action that engages the defense. After you use your coaches decision, or if you choose not to use it, use the following guidelines on 4th down.
MUST PUNT OR KICK FIELD GOALS ON 4th DOWN UNLESS:
Down 17+ points.
Down 10+ points and in opponents territory.
Anytime within your opponents 2 yard line.
Losing in the 4th Qtr.
You can go for 2 whenever you want. You can fake punt whenever you want.
You can not use an Unnatural Play Call (QB Spike) to undo an Ice The Kicker situation. If your kicker is Iced, you can either: Call a Timeout, run a normal play, or kick the Field Goal with the ice.
You can only switch a players position ONE TIME per season. You can NOT switch a WR to TE or vice versa, a FS/SS/CB to LB. If you have a question about another position change, ask a commissioner before editing your player and receiving penalty. If you do it without talking to a commissioner you may get a force loss.
User/GM Rules
13. If you have a Dev game that ends up being a force win or against CPU, we will push the scenario back until your next game against a user. You MUST take a pic of the scenario for this to happen.
14. Trades must be approved by commissioners.
15. Custom Playbooks are permitted.
16. No Quitting. If you quit, you are getting booted. The only time to end a game is when your opponent has broken rules.
17. Do not mention family in the trash talk.
18**. Do not** relocate your team until the 2nd year with Commissioner approval.
19. Advance is every 48 hours. Sometimes 72 hours when over the weekend. Contact your opponent within the first 24 hours – if no contact is made from either party in the first 24 hours it will be a fair sim regardless of Day 2 missed times. No response within 24 hours is subject to force win for user who reached out.
*The Tripp Rule. If you tank all season giving away force wins, we will take your picks from rounds 1 and 2. Also subject to be booted before we get to the Offseason.
