I Can’t Hire Staff

So I completed my first year in my franchise and fired my coach. During the Conference Championship week, I got the task to hire staff and clicked on it. I backed out and now I can’t go back and hire a coach. Anyone else have this problem and know a solution?

I've done that before. Just keep advancing weeks and it'll give you the option to hire staff again.

Yeah but then all the good coaches have been hired. Is there a workaround?

Not that I know of unless it's an offline franchise and you're able/willing to revert to a prior save.

I wish in coach mode you could hire assistants for offense defense special teams the whole staff.
