That route running clip is huge. Huge. Will be interesting if route runners are actually worth using in this game as a result of this change. This has the potential to finally change the "speed kills" aspect of sports videogames.

Eh with how man coverage plays currently the route running doesn’t even matter. Guys will still be wide open bc there is next to no man coverage logic, unless they addressed that.

That looks good but the secondary still moves unrealistic. Look in the trailer when Ruggs is running his route, the Chiefs defender isn’t cutting like him, he’s swerving unrealistically. What’s the point of adding realistic route running if the defense still doesn’t react and move realistically?

It’s just how they prioritize things. Remember when we got “true-step” the first year? It was literally only for ball carriers, every other player just floated and skated around. You can do these kind of things when you’re the only ball game in town

Ok that route running side by side, current gen vs next gen is definitely better. I'd like to see side by side with the OL since they said that was worked on as well.

Madden 25 is truly the last madden that id say held up well
