2K21 Next Gen Low-Res Player Pics

I just got a Series S and next gen 2K21 yesterday, and I have noticed some horribly low resolution player pics, as well as the NBA2K21 logo on the announce desk during pre-game / halftime shows.

Not sure if this belongs in a bugs thread, or if anyone else knows about this and if it can be fixed?

When I say low-res, I'm talking about distorted and pixelated, like a 280 res image stretched out across a larger screen space.

Could you take a photo of it and show it?

Sure.

Here's the NBA2K21 logo at the announce desk I was talking about

Player pics:

Fultz

Bamba

MCW

For comparison, here is a screenshot from my One S and you can see that Fultz is crisper.

It is only in the various game images, like player pics, or logos. The actual player textures in game look great. And it doesn't happen on my X-Box One version of 2K21, only on the next gen version on my Series S.

It's probably more to do with the fact the Series S is basically the same hardware if not worse then the Xbox One X and less to do with the game itself.

But I don't even have a One X. I have a One S and a Series S. But either system can still push 1080p, and the screenshots I posted, the player images are definitely lower than 1080p res. Plus, the rest of the game IS running in clean 1080p.

Anyways, I'm less concerned with it being a game issue, and more wondering if I have some settings incorrect on my X-Box, or something else I might perhaps be able to fix on my end.

Re: 2K21 Next Gen Low-Res Player Pics

Never hurts to check the graphics settings in the Xbox Settings, but if the rest of the game is running fine I don't think there is much that can be done to fix the issue.

This photo is unacceptable! There are people who try to justify it, saying that the S Series is not 4K.

Cmon !!!! This 2K logo must be in 256x256pixels !!! This is unacceptable! If all the textures were really in 1080p, we wouldn't have anything blurred that way!
