Is it okay to start over??

I am in the fifth season of a carryover franchise. Playing onlegend default. Absolutely silly great season. 127-35 with the cardinals. Traded for Schwarber and him, Grichuk and Carpenter are 3 of the best 4 hitters in the league with Bryant of the Cubs the other.
Down to the Dodgers 2 games to one. Great back and forth game 4 tied 8-8 in the top of the ninth. Dodger are loaded with Goldschmidt and Arenado.
Lead off the 9th with a single by Wong then Carpenter singles to right center but Wong stays at first. Instead of first and and 3rd with nobody out it’s a runner on first with one out. I’ve never reset anything on my franchise but I kind of think since it’s still tied maybe it isn’t cheating. Unless Wong breaks a leg there is no way he’s not on 3rd with no out. Rant over
Thought?

Re: Is it okay to start over??

there are tons of good reasons for starting over and you're example is just as good as any.

incidentally, the Top 2 Reasons To Start Over in franchise:
1) you started a carry-over franchise with Houston somewhere between Show 14 & Show 17.
or
2) you got shafted by Houston in the postseason at some point in the last 3-4 years.

BTW eventually I'll grow tired of hating the Astr*'s and back to hating the Red Sox and Yankees.

but today isn't that day lol

Lol
I actually lost to Houston in the World Series a few years back.
I did reset the game. Won 2-1 this time. Hated to but I didn’t want to take the chance of being down 3-1 with all this time invested and having that glitch.

LOL One of the "backgrounds" I use in my mind for my Fictional Franchise is that everyone got fired for cheating and the entire league just wanted to start over. Now if we could just edit Managers.

Re: Is it okay to start over??

An underrated feature of games is we can switch teams. As great as The Show is, there are still moments of video game silliness. I have switched teams without any guilty conscience to “restore” balance.

This must be how Thanos felt.

You need to institute self imposed trade restrictions. I use manage mode and I struggle to make the playoffs most of the time.

I thought about that after I had reset. I wish I’d thought about it sooner.
