Any way to not lose Scouting Points when starting late in the season?

Topic is pretty self-explanatory but is there any way to choose to start later in the season past Week 3 and either receiver a large amount of scouting points or have the CPU auto-scout for you while using a custom made draft class?

I'm not certain but do believe that if you have scouting set to Auto and use an auto-generated draft class (or even without having it set to Auto) you'll have some amount of players already drafted when you start later in the season.

I just hate wanting to get right into the Offseason from the real world NFL as a starting point but being forced to go into the draft with only a select portion of it scouted.

No, that's not possible

Your only option is to control multiple teams and use scout data you get from them.

If you're on PC you can make it so that scouting points don't decay using the Franchise Editor. Otherwise, it isn't possible.

You can do so much with the Franchise editor.

One cool thing you could do with it in Madden 20 (and I’m assuming Madden 21) is create every draft pick as a create-a-player so that if you’re skilled enough you could get a player that actually looks like the real rookie you create, then go to the Franchise editor and change that user to non-user controlled, which puts him as a normal player (instead of losing him if you switch to a different player, coach or owner). Then you should be able change his presentation ID so his last name is actually called.

And if you did it for all 32 first round picks, you have all those drafted players with accurate faces and their names called (if offensive I guess).

Granted, that would be a ton of work, but I don’t see why it can’t be done. As I said, in Madden 20 I used the exact same Franchise editor to create a player and then change that user status to non-user so he could just exist as a free agent.
