Challenge a play

Madden 21: the icon to challenge always shows that their is nothing to challenge. Has been this way now for several years. Am I doing something wrong?
PS4. Playing franchise mode

Yes challenge is still around, hasn't changed in about 15 years though. Wait til play call screen appears then pause and challenge.

You can't challenge if you go to pause screen and look at a replay first though.

You also can't challenge a play that would automatically be booth reviewed, such as a turnover or scoring play.

You can’t challenge on competitive mode, only sim

Also, don’t expect it to actually be reversed
