M25: Trouble with Free Agents in Franchise Using Custom Rosters

Hi guys,

In Madden 25 for PS3, I went ahead and used a 2020-21 custom roster for Franchise Mode. My problem: while the custom roster imports correctly into Franchise, the default Free Agents are still there (the lowest FA is rated an 80) - most of them are rated extremely highly with no way to edit them down.

My custom roster file contains its own FAs, so I don't know why these default ones keep appearing. Has anyone run into this?

Usually that will also crash cfm if you use a custom player or coach.

did you figure anything out for this? i always get 99 OVR peyton manning and eli manning in my CFMs with a custom roster

I tried editing the CSV to remove anything non-1009 coded and it still did not resolve issue. Free agent pool filled with players from the base game (e.g. Adrian Peterson, Drew Brees, Calvin Johnson, etc...). Any idea how to prevent this?

The only way is to get a default roster from 2013 and replace every player in the default roster in the db editor with 2021 players.
