How do you change teams in Franchise Mode?

If you select all 30, the settings are also for all 30 meaning if my free agency is manual so is every other team, this obviously doesn't work.

Any work arounds?

You make two profiles one set to everything auto and one for the team you control. When you select who you want to be you switch that team to the profile not set to auto. There is also a 30 team control guide on this forumn that was made a few years ago tell you everything you need to know/
