Favorite PS2 Madden for roster making

Curious as to what people think is the best PS2 to make rosters for? 07-08 seem to be faves and ‘12 is the last one produced. Ideas on which one is best? TIA

I prefer to make them for 07, but I make them for 04 through 12when asked.

No, I'll do an updated roster next year but I am not in the habit of doing updates through out the season and post season.
