Pot 1 (seeded teams): Qatar, Brazil, Belgium, France, Argentina, England, Spain, Portugal.

Pot 2: Mexico, Netherlands, Denmark, Germany, Uruguay, Switzerland, USA, Croatia.

Pot 3: Senegal, Iran, Japan, Morocco, Serbia, Poland, South Korea, Tunisia.

Pot 4: Cameroon, Canada, Ecuador, Saudi Arabia, Ghana, Wales/Scotland/Ukraine, Costa Rica/New Zealand, UAE/Australia/Peru.

I like the US chances to get through. Any one of the three EURO playoff teams could be a tough draw.

Gotta feel bad for Canada staring down Belgium and Croatia

Group H is super tough w/ Portugal, Ghana, Uruguay, and SKorea. Easy to imagine any 2 of those 4 making it through, even the Koreans.

USA should like their chances. I'll take Ukraine, Scotland, Wales, in that order.
Iran is a must-win...we've seen examples of this US squad playing down to competition. Can't happen here.

England will like their chances at 7-9 points.

Fondly remembering the last time the US was drawn with England, and the S*n posted a headline that said "EASY - England, Algeria, Slovenia, Yanks: Best English group since the Beatles."
