How to use manager?

In my career I saved up and got Heyman. It says he can distract the referee, how can I make him do this, or make him do anything?

Okay not really, more of a single manager question. Can divas be our managers? I don't want a dude walking me down the ramp. Not that there is anything wrong with that.

Yes you can get a few diva managers, summer rae and aj lee come to mind off top of my head.

The only thing I know about managers is that you have to unlock abilities. There are 3 levels for distracting the ref. all it is is how many times he can distract before being booted from ringside.

Once you unlock that I don't know how to trigger it though.

Ok I didn't realize that. I'll buy the first one and see. I just assumed a manger could do it defaulty. But I'll see with the ability now.

That ended up working since I got the ability. Only tried it for getting pinned though and they do it automatically, hoping he can distract so you can use a weapon as well. But that's less important.

Yeah, once you have the ability unlocked, it'll trigger automatically on a pinfall attempt where there's serious risk of you getting pinned. In other words, they won't distract the ref on early pinfall attempts. It may actually wait til your HP meter is in the red now that I think about it.

That is what I suspected.

I think it would have been far better with a manual trigger. I agree with 96C in wanting to use them to get weapons but it seems as if weapons are disabled in normal 1v1 matches anyway. Makes it hard to play a heel character.

I only just got the game today so I am still experimenting. Hoping the deeper you get the more the game opens up.
