According to Shawn Michaels' Attire....

So, according Shawn Michaels' attire...
Shown here and briefly in the gameplay trailer:

Assuming that Shawn Michaels plays a role in the Stone Cold showcase this year, his model and the model's gear would reflect that. So, there are only three possible matches to be included in the showcase in which HBK wore these Texas heart tights.



The three matches are:
- Sycho Sid vs. Shawn Michaels (Royal Rumble 1997)
- British Bulldog & Owen Hart vs. Steve Austin & Shawn Michaels (RAW 05/26/1997)
- Ric Flair vs. Shawn Michaels (Bad Blood 2003)



With that said, only one match out of these three really make sense to me as an inclusion for the 2K Showcase. That being, the tag team match on RAW between Owen, Bulldog, HBK, and Stone Cold. It seems to be the only match with any direct significance to Austin's career. However, Owen has not been announced and is unlikely to be included at this point. Unless 2K decided to include this attire for Shawn as just a bonus unlockable. I do doubt that 2K would add such a specific attire into the game just to do so, though...



I'm not sure. What do you guys think?

Just watched the match on the network and here's what I found about it

It's a tag team title match with Owen & Bulldog vs Shawn & Austin (Champions)

During the match Brian Pillman, Bret Hart, and Neidhart stand at the ramp.

The leaked commentary https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UV_NRLmIxNg talks about Shawn & Austin about the TagTitles and everyone thought it was the match with Austin/Shawn vs the Road Warriors

At the end of the match Austin attacks Bret and the Hart family attacks Shawn so this match as a cinematic value with a good cutscene

Characters involved that are confirmed.

Bret Hart, Brian Pillman, British Bulldog, Jim Neidhart, Shawn Michaels (exact attire from that night), and Stone Cold the only one left is Owen
