Is there a way to do custom title matches like for the title? Or if you change it does it automatically become non title

It's a bug and 2K is working on a patch for it.

More specifically, you can edit matches to make your own title defenses on PPVs, but a known bug currently prevents the from working on weekly shows.

If you change the title match from a triple threat to a one v one, the title match also disappears.

Kind of a work around; schedule a match, and then if the challenger wins, just edit the title and give him it. Works for now I guess but it's certainly not ideal.

If you change a title match they have ALWAYS changed from a title match to a non-title match

I think there used to be a work around though. Where you gave a guy 2 belts and then had a match. At least in SVR 11 that worked.

Yeah but if you keep the defending champion in the match you can't change it back to a title match from what I am understanding lol

I was just talking in general for previous games that if you would try and alter the match in any way it would eliminate it from being a title match.

Really hoping they get the patch up quickly for being able to create your own title matches.
