1) I desperately hate the attire situation. I think current stars should have a bunch of slots and then after every ppv (cause that’s when they seem to change), have a free download to add something like AJ’s new attire. It’s just a color swap. It’s such a pain to keep getting custom creations, assigning them, deleting them...
2) DLC shouldn’t be current stars. Not saying after cutoff date, but lashley and rush took way too long to release.
3) promos suck. Not sure what can be done cause they can never have hundreds of people record lines though.
4) do something about long hair.
5) mix tag team matches

• Create A Story/Story Designer
• Longer Career/Season mode with branching options
• Get rid of the years next to a wrestlers name in promos/match up screen/title card
  "The Rock '01, I'm calling you out"
• The rock, Triple H or Kurt Angle showcase, if for nothing else for the extra
  attires, arenas and old theme songs that would come with it
• In Universe mode, the superstars assigned to a certain show are the only ones that are shown when selecting wrestles for a match
• For past championship history screen, model it after how wwe.com does it

• A real calendar for universe mode
• More variety to the stunner sell. some wrestlers get on one knee, some get on both. The Rock sell like The Rock. add scoot hall and shane's stunner sell
• Improve promo engine. Promos should feel like the wrestles that are cutting them. Get rid of the animation where the wrestle is surprised of a wrestler coming out after they just got done calling them out
• Incorporate supercard w/ 2k for extra VC & face scanning
• Previous show opening theme ( across the nation, Beautiful people)
• For its soundtrack, use songs that were previously used for PPVs

• The ability to import created videos to universe mode
• Fix clipping between championships and attires

I actually thought of the GM in Universe Mode as well:

Have a “GM” slot in the show roster and be able to put Stephanie, HHH, Shane, Drake Maverick or whoever and have them pop up in cut scenes.

I would love to have GM Mode back but not to the point where it's to complicated. I loved SVR 06 GM Mode because it was fun and simple. SVR 07 got to complicated in my opinion.

Various things need to be improved in Universe Mode

1) Improve the AI Logic in Rivalries. For example you could be in a match and the rival does a run in but then attacks the wrong person causing you to win via DQ instead of the opponent.

2) Make injuries matter in Universe Mode with a comeback storyline in which someone makes a return targeting the wrestler who injured them.

3) Improve the promo script for call outs or self promotions in title rivalries. As of now one wrestler could be a contender but have a role reversal by talking as a champion or a champion talking as if they are #1 contender and the opponent has the title.

4) Improve CPU Booking for potential rivalries in which they are being booked in matches or promos in consecutive weeks to increase the rating.

5) Adding backstage promos to Universe Mode to increase a rivalry that does not have a in ring promo or match. The backstage promo could also be before a match to hype up a match which gives the player a stat boost towards the match.
