Broncos Receive Terrible News in Victory

The Bronco's resounding win against the Jacksonville Jaguars was hampered by the news that DJ Williams will miss the remainder of the season after suffering a torn pectoral muscle. Elvis Dumervil is also on the IR with the same injury.

The Bronco's front seven will be under more duress as injuries are depleting the roster. On Sunday they looked good, holding Maurice Jones-Drew to 93 yards on 27 carries.

Jacksonville started off the game with a very efficient drive, scoring on an 8 yard pass from Garrard to Sims-Walker. After that it was all Denver, as they rattled off 24 straight points. Buckhalter scored 2 touchdowns and Eddie Royal chipped in, returning a punt 53 yards for a touchdown.

Denver started off the game with Orton picking apart the Jacksonville secondary. After going into the half leading 14-7 the Broncos pounded the ball mercilessly at a worn down Jacksonville defense that seemed one step behind Denver the entire game. Moreno rushed for 93 y ards on 27 carries, and Buckhalter chipped in with 19 yards and 2 touchdowns.

DJ Williams was flying all over the field before leaving with his injury. He recorded 8 tackles, 2 for a loss in his 3 quarters of work. Denver has huge question marks in their front seven after losing their best remaining linebacker. On the positive side, Ryan Harris is expected to start next week against Seattle; Zane Beadles will slide back to his spot at left guard.
