XBOX 720 Arriving in Late 2012 Rumors

I am looking at a lot of rumors that say the product will arrive Holiday next year, 2012. What do you think? Do the rumors get you excited? Do you think this will be the end of bad graphics?

If True it means that companies have been working on games for the 720 for about a year so far and no one has said anything yet??..Ehhh I believe late 2013 is a safer bet.

Usually you hear rumors if they are working on the next system. They would already have the dev's in their shops. You would have heard about that.

I wouldnt expect a new console until 2015 considering that seems to be the most prevelant rumor, but isnt it fun to think what sports games will look like by then. It is exciting to think of sports games that have life like graphics. What are your thoughts on these potential graphics?

Man, I bet those graphics gonna be killer. The rumors say they will look like Avatar the movie, just saying.

I think rock is right too - 2013 is more likely. E3 in 2013 would be our likely view of the newest console(s)....

Frank O'Connor has posted in NeoGAF to dispel rumors that Halo 4 will be a title for the next-generation Microsoft console.

“Halo 4 will be on *Xbox 360* and use a modified core of the Halo engine(s). Not really a singular engine since it goes through fairly radical evolutions all the time.”

This should end the rumors. There is no way Microsoft would release a new system with out a New Halo being released with it.

IMO a new system is not needed now. Lets just keep pushing the limits on the current gen now and upgrade when it is needed.I know I just spent to much money getting the upgraded versions now,( ps3 slim and the newer 360. The last thing I want to see is hey look at what we are doing now . Get one next year
