Hey guys! For the first game, I will be waiting for Scott's rosters to release so I could start the Dynasty gameplay I've been preparing for weeks! It will be a New York Yankees dynasty starting the year in the 2012/2013 offseason! I will start off the dynasty by simming the 2012 season and starting at the beginning of the following offseason. I will post games and backstory along the way. For the backstory, it will be an up and down rollercoaster for the characters involved! It will be a contradicting mix of comedy and suspense, but, I will make it work

Hope you guys enjoy this thread as much as I enjoy making it for you!

The first posts will have important information about the dynasty settings...

What happened in 2011:
In 2011, the Yankees had a very successful season finishing at the top of the division with a 97-65 record! Future Hall of Famer Derek Jeter accomplished one of the greatest feats a position player could ever achieve by getting 3,000 hits! Granderson had a breakout year cranking 41 home runs, Cano, Tex, Robertson, and Nova had plus years. The Yanks would stride to make it all the way to game 5 of the ALDS, losing to the Tigers. After the disappointment, an aged Jorge Posada called it quits and retired.

What happened in 2012:
Will release after swimming 2012 season...

What to look forward in 2013:
Will release after 2012-2013 offseason...

On a Saturday afternoon, of March 3rd, 2012,Brian Cashman, Hal, and Hank Steinbrenner stopped by a Tampa Chipotle for some lunch before the first Spring training game to discuss future plans for the beloved New York Yankees. After hank and Hal finished their burrito bowls, they waited for Brian cashman to finish his bowl.

Brian begins to lick the rest of the bowl clean, hurrying to leave to get to the game. The trio of Yankee VIP’s head to Brian’s Bentley, then drive out to the field. As they are driving, Hank took notice of something behind them.

The men notice Jeter getting his sleeve he left in his car, sees the sweaty trio of VIP’s walking around the parking lot of George H. Steinbrenner Stadium and asks “You guys alright?”

The three walk away, looking very awkward and mysterious. Jeter was puzzled as he watched, and then shrugged his shoulders.

Scott never mentioned an exact date. He did mention he had a lot of work to do before he can finish the rosters, but with the latest transaction between the Marlin's, D-Back's, and A's, it will be a little bit longer.

I keep my word that I will continue this thread when the rosters are actually released. It may be the day of, the next day, or the week of, but, it will be continued.
