Re: Who Needs LeBron? ~ A Miami Heat MyLeague Series (NBA2k15/PS4)
Mario Chalmers is struggling badly Mario Chalmers lost his starting PG spot to Norris Cole just before the season began, and it seems to be affecting his game early on into the 2014-2015 NBA Season. The 28-year old is averaging 5.7PPG, 1.9RPG, 2.0APG, 0.5SPG, and is posting some fairly mediocre percentages with 47%, 41%, and an atrocious 39% from the line to start the year. This can be attributed to a few things, for one thing he's only averaging 15.7 minutes per game now as opposed to previous seasons, but in comparison rookie PG Shabazz Napier is out-performing and playing fairly well when given the chance in just 11 minutes. There are starting to be questions as to whether Riley would consider moving the former Kansas standout, but it's doubtful Miami could get even average value for him.

Re: Who Needs LeBron? ~ A Miami Heat MyLeague Series (NBA2k15/PS4)
Heat sneak past Wizards
Game Recap: A fantastic ending! The Heat got revenge on the Wizards after in the 1st game of the season they got blown out in the 4th quarter, the Heat held tight here. The "Big 3" were the top 3 scorers of course, and the Wizards had a thing going of their own. Wade hit the go ahead bucket to make it 97-96 Miami with 7.6 seconds to go. On the in-bounds play, Dejuan Blair threw it out of bounds and gave it back to Miami, what a goof. Bosh nailed a free throw and that was that since the halfcourt shot was missed by Beal. The Heat advance to 12-5 on the season and are starting to prove they may still be legit, just in a different sense. Around the League: Russell Westbrook (West) and Derrick Rose (East) named players of the month. Dante Exum (West) and Jabari Parker (East) named rookies of the month. NBA All-Star Voting has opened. Heat flame out vs Hawks
Game Recap: Apparently Wade and the young-ins are the only ones who were told that a game was on tonight. Wade did all he could to keep Miami in it but even Bosh played terribly today, bad performance and you just gotta bounce back from it. Around the League: Tristan Thompson is ready to talk contract extension. Clippers on a 5-game winning streak. Love drops 22 as Cavs beat the Knicks. Heat give a gift to Milwaukee
Game Recap: UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH... giving it away, that's what Miami did. OJ Mayo hit 2 freaking massive shots late, and he out-played Wade in the final 4 possessions. A 3 by him, Wade gets a layup to make it 103-103, Mayo makes a big shot and then Wade misses his layup to tie it up, time runs out since no one could foul in time and the Bucks steal it... incredible. Around the League: Mavs beat Suns 91-89 in nail-biter. 76ers on 8-game losing streak. Dwyane Wade named Eastern Conference Player of the Week. Magic send Kyle O'Quinn and Ben Gordon to Warriors for Marreese Speights and Festus Ezeli. Grizzlies can't handle Bosh
Game Recap: Fantastic bounce back win considering the last two nights have been incredibly rough! Bosh had a dominant game against the dominating duo of the Grizzlies frontcourt. Putting up 30/8 is nothing to just dismiss, and he really proved himself. The rest of the team struggled getting in double digits, Wade being the only other with 16/10. There were numerous contributions though which is in reality what you want more. On a sad note, Zach Randolph had a devastating injury with around 1 minute left in the 4th when the Heat were up 11, he broke his ankle and will be up for around the next month. Truly heart-breaking for the fans and just the team of the Grizzlies. It was a rough site to see as well. Around the League: Randolph out 4-6 weeks with broken ankle. Goran Dragic on the trade block? According to Steve Aschburner. 76ers want to trade for Alexey Shved badly. Corey Brewer returns to action for the Timberwolves. Cavs beat Nets in OT 124-121. Markieff Morris signs 2-year/15.07M deal with Phoenix.

Re: Who Needs LeBron? ~ A Miami Heat MyLeague Series (NBA2k15/PS4)
Norris Cole for Shane Larkin? News reported earlier today by ESPN's Marc Stein. The Miami Heat and New York Knicks were in rumors of a possible PG swap for the young point guards. Negotiations appear to be on hold at the moment but it would be quite an interesting exchange if it were to happen. Additional to the possible PG mix, the Knicks want SF James Ennis but would be willing to send SF Cleanthony Early, this may very well be the reason as to why Riley and the Heat are on hold regarding negotiations. Regardless, back to the meat of the deal, a swap of Norris Cole for Shane Larkin would cause quite the stir. Cole has been with Miami, been a proven commodity and has some nice chemistry in the locker-room, but he does have issues. His contract expires after the end of the season and his agent is Rich Paul... who just so happens to be LeBron's agent. If the Cavaliers steal yet another member of the Miami Mafia you can bet Riley won't be happy. The positivity getting Larkin would mean you have him for this season, and then his next two seasons he has team options. This is fantastic for Miami simply because with the way their cap is at the moment, saving as much money as you can can be a very key asset. Of course, Larkin isn't nearly as good a shooter and today he's a worse player than Cole but perhaps he has potential? It's not good when the team that drafts you trades you after a year, but mistakes happen.... plus, he went to the University of Miami. He knows the area, he'd be a fan favorite when he makes plays, how come he can't rekindle his career a bit down south? It'll have to be remain to be seen if any progression in the deal is made within the coming days and weeks.

Re: Who Needs LeBron? ~ A Miami Heat MyLeague Series (NBA2k15/PS4)
Evaluation #1 of 2014-2015 Record: Record: 13-7 Division: 2nd Conference: 3rd Team Stats: PPG: 102.8 (15th) OPPG: 99.4 (9th) FG%: .482 (4th) 3PT%: .365 (20th) FT%: .735 (24th) APG: 22.4 (21st) RPG: 46.8 (11th) SPG: 6.3 (29th) BPG: 5.7 (2nd) Player Stats: PPG: Dwyane Wade (24.0) APG: Dwayne Wade (5.9) RPG: Chris Bosh (9.0) SPG: Dwyane Wade (1.5) BPG: Chris Bosh (1.6) 20 games into the season.. the record could be a bit nicer. The Heat jumped out to a 5-1 start and have been 8-6 since then which isn't all that great, but they have a solid position in the conference at the moment. Their rebounding is incredibly high considering the last 4 years in the Big 3 era, it appears the additions of guys such as Emeka Okafor and Reggie Evans are paying massive dividends to that area. The team is awful at making steals happen though, but I guess that's to be expected. Player stats wise, how could you expect anyone but Wade and Bosh to be leading the categorizes? Right now, the team has to focus very much on having a very good month of December. They're going to face numerous very good teams, including their first matchup vs LeBron James since he left. By January 1st, 2015 I'll believe you'll have a much better gauge as to just how good this Heat team is or how much of a pretender they are by the time it rolls around.

Re: Who Needs LeBron? ~ A Miami Heat MyLeague Series (NBA2k15/PS4)
Heat beats the Sun
Game Recap: Someone give James Ennis the ROTY Award! Holy crap what a clinic in the 4th quarter. Wade was starting to get gassed after going off for the most part late, and in consecutive sequences, Ennis nailed 3 3's that gave the Heat the lead and eventually paid off into a victory. This is why the Heat wanna hold onto him! 19 points in 19 minutes, he just needs to gain consistency and keep working in order to be a beast. Around the League: Prospect Sasa Cop is going off for Slovenia. Kenneth Faried wants to talk extension with Denver. Bosh obliterates the Nuggets
Game Recap: This is what happens when Miami clicks on all cylinders. Yea, Wade didn't go off for a 50-point+ night but you only want him to do those when he has to, today he didn't and the Heat just stomped all over the Nuggets. Faried tried to do what he could but he was basically the only Nugget to really show up tonight. Bosh was a freak, and it shows you that without LeBron here he's very capable of taking over and leading this team. Bad news as well for the Nuggets continues though, JJ Hickson was day to day coming into today with a sore wrist, and Timofey Mozgov got injured in the game with a severe ankle sprain, Denver now sits at 8-14, another poor season for them? Around the League: Joe Johnson out 2-4 weeks with knee tendinitis. Rockets beat Warriors 115-107 in tight matchup. "GMs around the league are praying that Luol Deng doesn't exercise his option this summer, a LOT of suitors." - Trey Kerby. Roy Hibbert will return from a broken toe vs Portland. Thunder bury Cavaliers 116-111... KD vs LeBron, Durant drops 39. Norris Cole: "Yo, Miami fans. I told my agent to open negotiations to stay in town long term. Let's finish what we started!"

Re: Who Needs LeBron? ~ A Miami Heat MyLeague Series (NBA2k15/PS4)
Cole agrees to deal with Heat! Very good news for Heat fans today, the Miami Heat and Norris Cole reached an agreement on a 3-year/14.58M deal with the young point guard earlier this morning. It's fantastic news considering there were rumors about the PG possibly being moved to New York for PG Shane Larkin earlier on, but it appears those rumors are now dead. Cole will now be with the Heat all the way through the 2017-2018 season, the only 4 players currently signed for those years are Bosh, McRoberts, Cole, and Napier. It's very interesting though... with Cole signing his new deal, and Napier on his way up, does this mean Mario Chalmers is soon going to be officially gone from the Miami Heat and faded out more than he is right now? His contract expires after the 2015-2016 season, it's quite possible in all honesty.
Armor & Sword likes this.

Re: Who Needs LeBron? ~ A Miami Heat MyLeague Series (NBA2k15/PS4)
A little close for comfort, Heat survive Jazz
Game Recap: From a 4-18, you'd expect more of the performance the Heat gave against the Nuggets but hey.. a win's a win. The Heat are currently on a 4-game winning streak and a bit of that can be attributed to their schedule. After the Bulls game, they play two below .500 teams including the Jazz once again, will they be able to cast revenge? For the game itself, Wade/Bosh duo getting it done again and look at Ray Allen with them 3's! Derrick Favors played fantastic but it wasn't enough for Utah, good performance for the Jazz fans though. Around the League: Noah gets sore wrist in Bulls vs Nets, will still play vs Heat. Marcus Morris posts career high with 24 pts. James Harden (West) named player of the week. Cavs re-sign Tristan Thompson for 3-years/18.79M. Blockbuster: Suns trade Goran Dragic to 76ers for Alexey Shved and 2015 1st Rounder. WOW! (that is the 76ers 1st btw) Nuggets re-sign Kenneth Faried to 3-year/29.42M deal. Deng gets revenges on Bulls/Rose gives it his all
Game Recap: The first time Luol Deng faced his old team... incredible. He was just 6 points of his career high and dropped freaking 34 points on them with 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Wade and Bosh played the complimentary player roles this game, and it paid off. For Chicago, holy crap Derrick Rose. He literally did all he good but in all honesty it looked very vivid reminders of LeBron during his first stint with the Cavaliers... he did all he could but he got zero help. Rose's 48 was all for naught other than it goes on his player stats... must be very upsetting for him. Around the League: Anthony Davis out 1-2 weeks with strained achilles. Louis Williams of Toronto out 6-8 weeks with broken leg, ouch. Tim Hardaway Jr. out 6-8 weeks with broken elbow. Kevin Durant drops new league-high 61 points... his career high himself. Heat beat Nets by 21
Game Recap: Another great performance. It's good to see Deng leading the team in scoring for back to back games. Also, very impressed by Josh McRoberts getting up there considering his job isn't really to score whatsoever. For the Nets, who the hell is Bojan Bogdanovic? Regardless, he dropped nearly 30 on Miami.. gotta do better defense on him, but all-around as I said great performance. Around the League: Heat are on a 6-game winning streak. Brian Shaw is FIRED in Denver, Logan Schmidt replaces him as interim. Magic trade Willie Green to the Raptors for a 2016 2nd Round Pick.

Re: Who Needs LeBron? ~ A Miami Heat MyLeague Series (NBA2k15/PS4)
Jazz put the Heat to sleep
Game Recap: Disappointing loss to a terrible team.. the Jazz bigs ate the Heat alive as seen on the rebounding stat, luckily that's one of the few times it's happened this season. The Heat need to stay focused and get back in the win collum instead of sliding with a few L's now. Wade played well, Bosh played well, and the role players played decent but decent wasn't enough today. Props to Derrick Favors for being great in both games vs Miami this season. Around the League: Magic are on 6-game losing streak. Cousins will return to play vs Lakers. Marion not talking with Cavs about extension. Wiz backcourt fierce, no help
Game Recap: Great way to bounce back after losing to a very poor team. Wade put on an utter show in the 4th quarter, he went into it with just 4 points and put up 16 out of no where, giving the Heat the victory along with his double double. Mario Chalmers provided a spark off the bench you didn't really see in the past, great game by him. But damn that Wizards backcourt man... so great and so good, if they coulda had a solid 3rd piece in either Pierce or Gortat show up today they probably win. Around the League: Leonard puts up 19 as Spurs beat Blazers, 89-86. Carmelo Anthony (East) and Damian Lillard (West) named players of the week. Nate Wolters out 6-8 weeks with broken ankle. Tyson Chandler wants to re-sign with Mavericks. Amir Johnson wants to re-up deal with Toronto. ****ing Marcus Smart
Game Recap: WHY? WHY? WHY? WHY? WHY?.... let's get down to the final 43 seconds. Wade has the ball and he tries dribble moves to get past Avery Bradley all the way down to 3 seconds, eventually he kicks it out to Luol Deng and bang! 95-93 game! Heat got the lead! Rajon Rondo tries to do something but Cole is keeping him close, 4 seconds left and Chalmers comes to help, wide open 3 for Smart and BANGGGGG!!!!! 96-95 lead for BOSTON! No timeouts... that's game. Ugh, such a pathetic waste of a game after you dominate for 3 straight quarters. Then you lose it in the 4th, it has a reminder of the Jeff Green shot last season, but this it's Marcus Smart... DAMMIT! Around the League: Amir Johnson re-signs with Toronto for 2-years/12.96M. Marc Gasol: "Memphis fans, you know I love ya! But I gotta do what's best in the long run. Going to test free agency this summer. #Thx4TheMemories." Grizzlies re-sign Tayshaun Prince to 1-year/1.86M deal. Big 3 drops 60
Game Recap: Great performance by the Heat's new Big 3 today! Even though it was against the Philadelphia 76ers, it's a great day to just take care of business after a very crappy loss to the Celtics. Dropping 20 points all around as well as Bosh getting 12 rebounds was fantastic. Regarding the 76ers, newly lead Goran Dragic is playing well... but he's not making the 76ers a winner right now. That trade appears like it's gonna be a massive mistake by the 76ers if the Suns can pick up a superstar. Around the League: Lillard scores 39 as Blazers beat Thunder 109-105. Nikola Vucevic of Orlando out 4-6 weeks with a high ankle sprain. Nene out 4-6 weeks with knee tendinitis. Bulls win 5th straight. Andre Iguodala of GSW out 2-4 months with dislocated patella, ouch. Mavs sign Tyson Chandler to 2-years/11.16M deal.
