FYI,

I'm a little more than halfway done with 2004 Auburn on Teambuilder. If you want to check out what I have so far, feel free.

Jawara White officially commits.

That's 2 great in state backers thus far with White and Holland. Both will be 4*'s when the ratings are said and done.

Read this for a good laugh.

This is one of the funnier posts.

fyi. White is 6'2'' 220. Pretty funny how players lose 2 inches and 20 pounds when they commit to Auburn. And apparently Alabama sends written offers, that are still not firm. I guess it's a new recruiting tactic Saban is implementing.

Making matters even worse, he's only about 6'0 and 200 pounds, and he's really just too small to play linebacker in the 3-4. He has pretty good athleticism now, but he would need to add 20-30 pounds to play even outside linebacker, and by that point his athleticism would probably be gone. Again, he certainly isn't a bad prospect by any stretch of the imagination, but with the way we are recruiting, guys in that category don't get crimson offers any more. Under Shula we would have been eating this guy up, but now...
All in good fun.

Are you surprised? This is coming from the same small minds that believe they "own" us after they finally got a win in the series (against one of the worst AU teams of the last 25 years).

They don't live in the same realm of reality as the rest of the world. They exist in some parallel Crimson la la land.

I'm loving the way this recruiting is shaping up. i think Auburn can pull in a top 5 class if we win games. the key will be the play on the field though, hands down.

Re: 2009 Auburn Tigers Football

Very sad day, head swimming and diving coach Richard Quick lost his battle with cancer. I've been reading updates on him for the past few months, it is really upsetting to see this.
