I know I've been critical of the NCAA info coming out compared to Madden but it's hard not to be jealous with some of the blogs and info coming out of the Madden camp. Then you get them actually posting games and impressions on OS. I wish the NCAA team could do the same.
It is puzzling and frustrating that the NCAA team members are under mandate to keep quiet about so much of what new in the game- gameplay, A.I. and Dynasty wise.

I guess the TPTB are waiting for E3 to let the information flow begin.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

I actually like that many of the new gameplay changes have not been announced... its not a bad thing to be excited when you open the box on release day to see what is new. I wonder why so many people think about games in the past and how much they loved them... probably because they didn't sit on a website picking the game apart for months before and after it has been released.

this is exactly what is happening.

but we really didn't critique games back then like we do now.

i guess it's a good thing that we can discuss them.

People should keep bumping this post until "OMT" answers it directly.

The adaptive AI that has been added in NCAA and Madden 10 has nothing to do with the difficulty automatically adjusting in Madden 09 even though I think they used some of the same terminology last year.

This new adaptive AI is about the CPU changing its strategies during the game based on what is working or not working against the user on both sides of the ball, much like what coaches do in a real game. It's not about difficulty, just about realistic strategies.

Also, Madden never took out the actual difficulty levels in 09. You were able to turn off the Madden Skill or whatever it was called that adjusted difficulty on the fly.

"the real bread and butter is in the Season Showdown and TeamBuilder modes..."

AWESOME!

Two features I will never use...
