Cause i tell you, if the CPU need to vanquish you, on Legendary,
you'll have to perform at your absolute best to try to stop if from succeeding in its unwavering determination.

What you're dealing with cannot possibly be a slider problem in itself,
for this slider set works like magic for me,
and i suppose many others in here,
given the low activity.

What seems to be the necessary step for you to undertake,
if you want to be taken seriously by the CPU,
and if it's actually your intent to simulate fairly realistic gameplay,
is to initiate a gradual overhaul in the way you play,
although we should also keep in mind that whenever a footbal game's
realistically simulated it's inevitably going to be boring in phases,
cause football can be boring a lot of the times,
certainly if you seek out a thrill and aren't as passionate about tactical development.

That might in deed have solved it.
Though i hadn't had the urge to come back to immediately look for the answer as it wasn't my TV to which my PS4 had been hooked.

But, since i know this TV has a 'game mode', 'theatre mode', and such,
i'm sure that'll probably solve the issue next time.

How on earth do you guys get goals with goalkeepers at 50 and shot speed at 51 (i.e., essentially identical to 50)?

For me, they seem to all have perfect reflexes and catching skills at 50. Lowering the goalkeeper ability slider doesn't seem to do much, plus it causes the issue of reducing goal kick power at significantly lower levels.

What I've done is gone in and reduced each goalkeeper's GK attributes for the teams I play with and against. I reduce catching/handling, diving, and positioning by 10, and reduce reflexes by 20. I also increase their long passing ability substantially (into the 50s-70s); I figure, the keeper is surely always one of the best long passers in the team, considering how often they play long passes.

Anyway, I love the results. They're so choice; if you have the means, I highly recommend picking this up.

If not, I'm really impressed with however you guys are able to score/get scored on!

I hope this was a joke because if not, i would recommend some pills or something. Are you seriously saying, that i am destroying Legendary AI and winning every game and being first in Premier League with freshly promoted Wolves because i am bad at FIFA?? And if i would be better player, it would be much more difficult to play? It really makes sense. This is probably the biggest joke i heard this year and i doubt i will hear something better in the rest of the year Kuddos to you for making my day a bit more funny and happy

It would only make sense if you were not leading in the league.
(and if you were positioned somewhere mid-table or lower down)
Because from time to time the programming has shown to be produced in such a way as to allow for those easy wins every now and then
so as to alleviate the worries for the player who's essentially lacking any real skill to produce enjoyment for himself.
(not meaning to implictly refer to you, but in general.)

So, then, the only possible cause i can imagine being accountable for this atrocity you've been experiencing, is the fact that you're not having any of your controls set to manual,
this must be the case, right?


Though i'm definitely asserting this to be factual:

At least this has proven to be the case in my situation.
The AI seems to adjust to your level of capability.
The way the AI plays in your experience is a very specific adjustment to your style.

But if you're playing fully assisted, and don't intend to consider making a change,
then don't bother.
