Even with a halftime lead, the Cleveland Browns lost to the Buffalo Bills 28-20. The Bills scored 16 unanswered points in the third and fourth quarter. That lead would prove to be enough to hold off the Browns.

The Browns went into the halftime break with a lead and the momentum. The next quarter they watched a 4 point lead turn into a 12 point deficit. With 2:59 left in the fourth quarter the Browns offense finally scored again. With only a 5 point deficit the game was in reach. The Browns defense collapsed under the pressure and the Bills made it an 8 point game. With under a minute left, the Browns needed a touchdown. Instead, Weeden threw an interception. Even with the game-breaking interception, Brandon Weeden had one of his better games. He threw for 265 yards and had a touchdown. He did have 2 interceptions, one of them coming on a hail mary attempt.

Trent Richardson had his worst game of the season, only rushing for 62 yards on 13 attempts. He had the Browns only points of the second half with a
1-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter. Josh Gordon had his best game of his career with 140 receiving yards on only 8 catches. Jordan Norwood's 12-yard touchdown was his first touchdown catch of the season.

The Browns defense struggled. The losses of star players earlier in the season have proven to be important. C.J. Spiller ran for 195 yards and had 2 touchdowns; E.J. Manuel passed for 181 with only 8 incomplete passes. The Bills picked the Browns defense apart. The Browns defense seems to get worse every game they play. The defense allowed 28 points and 418 offensive yards.

Top Stories
⦁In Jacksonville, Blaine Gabbert has been replaced by Chad Henne at quarterback. Could this be a motivational tactic?
⦁Drew Brees' arm looks better than ever, as he's now 6th all-time on the passing yardage list.
⦁It's simply stunning that Charles Woodson has been cut today by the Oakland Raiders. He's had a wonderful career, but will it continue?
⦁The 49ers remain undefeated after they beat the Texans 28-3.
⦁The Colts have struggled without Peyton Manning, starting the season 0-4.

Re: Madden 25 Cleveland Browns Owner Mode - The Nathan Clayton Era

Jason Campbell to Start
Coach Chudzinski had made the decision to bench Brandon Weeden after another loss. "I think Weeden's turnovers were just too harmful to the team. We need to go in a different direction." Jason Cambell will be the Browns 19th starting quarterback since 1999. In Cambell's 8 years in the NFL, he has thrown for 14,682 yards with 76 touchdowns and 52 interceptions.

Matthew Stafford and the Detroit Lions threw 6 interceptions en route to a loss to the Cleveland Browns. The final: 44-26.

The Browns offense ran like a well-oiled machine to start the game with no turnovers and solid drives. Late in the second quarter, the machine fell apart. Campbell threw four interceptions with little scoring. Then the fourth quarter came, Jamoris Slaughter kicked off the momentum with an 82-yard pick six. It would be followed by 2 passing touchdowns.

Jason Campbell threw 3 touchdowns, more than any other Browns quarterback this season. He also had the best completion percentage for a starter this season at 54%. However, he wasn't without his mistakes throwing 4 interceptions. Trent Richardson was on his way to another good start before leaving the game with a serious knee injury. He ran for 125 yards on 17 attempts. Other rushers for the Browns failed to match his success. With Cambell under center, the ball was spread out to a lot of the receivers. The ball went to Jordan Cameron the most. He had 75 yards receiving on 8 catches with 2 touchdowns. Greg Little had his first touchdown reception of the year.

The Browns defense had a masterful game. They forced 7 turnovers, 2 of which were returned for touchdowns. They struggled beyond that, allowing Matthew Stafford to throw for 500 yards and 2 touchdowns. The Lions dominated when it came to the deep pass. Both Calvin Johnson Jr. and Mike Thomas burned the secondary. Barkevious Mingo had his first career sacks and Jamoris Slaughter had his first career pick six.
