Wait, so you're saying you can no longer move guys to FB or OL to avoid regression and get them XP from team drills?

Yes, that's what I'm saying. As you move a player back to their original position and they are in a game it sets the goal as that position, not what position they are in when you advance from the preseason.


By this logic, if a player doesn't play all year, they shouldn't regress for season goals as they never had a season goal in the first place...? But there is no stashing a QB3 with the goals of FB to gain XP now.

Thanks for the clarification. I think it is bettee this way as you don't have to worry about the regression from not reaching goals.

I'm trying to find info if QB THP regression has been fixed when they turn 29. Any news on that?

I don't believe anything has been tuned/patched for regression at all.


I have these spread sheets for different devs and positions that someone posted on here though:


Edit: Oops, just checked the patch notes (1.05) and yes QB regression was tuned
"♦Tuned game regression that can occur for quarterbacks"


Therefore my spread sheet is likely out of date for QBs.

Added a workaround for offline CFM for the annoying coaching carousel bug where generic CPU coaches would have different schemes/playbooks to the original player archetypes. You can change playbooks and schemes but you cannot change archetypes...
