I don't know, brother. This seems about right. They're really sold on their story mode, so they shoehorned it in as their staple to the EA Play audience, which honestly isn't us here. On top of not seeing any gameplay until the upcoming week(s), all of which will be two minute videos from the GCs harping on the same concepts, we weren't intended to see much today. Time to just sit and wait (and pray) for the developer blogs. Hopefully there's some solid CFM info, I need something to distract me from MADDEN: The Movie.

This is even more of a waste then I thought..u don't even get to play a game as the character..at least in story modes in shooters u still have to play the game..even worse this was part of there 4 year window. I'm shocked

One more thing..if I want to watch a movie I watch a movie..not watch it on a Madden game

I know what EA is doing, this is the first year of Longshot. So they're going to make it nice cinemeatic story then for Madden 19 they'll hype Longshot 2 as the true Longshot mode because guess what...WE CAN PLAY ACTUAL NFL GAMES IN THIS YEAR MADDEN!
