Okay, I watched the video on this and I know I've said this before, but this is NFL Fever 2004 Read N Lead passing copied exactly. My goodness, even down to the "harder" mode of allowing the cursor to be on the screen without being tied to a receiver.

I must say, I LOVE IT. It's the only way I played NFL Fever 2004 when it came out. The passing style was ahead of it's time, and i'm so glad it's finally back. Fever had an issue where the receivers for no rhyme or reason would slow down or speed up, which sometimes made using Read N Lead somewhat erratic. But hopefully 13 years later. EA has somewhat perfected the idea.

This is the only way i'm going to play going forward. With that being said, I've watched the Patriots vs the Raiders video and the Packers vs The Bears video and wow.......if you told me that was Madden 17, I wouldn't doubt you. The promo videos and screens look so amazing, yet the snow videos look sub-par. I have yet to see a regular night video or a day video, hopefully the lighting in those look like the pictures and videos.

I skipped Madden 17 last year because I had 17 and EA Access. I want 18, but beyond the new passing mechanic, i'm find it really hard to get excited.

My question though....

Do ratings effect how easy it is to move the icon?

no ratings matter in target passing, unfortunately. We have to be vocal about them changing it for next year.

Although I don't like much of what M18 has to offer at all, the target passing feature is lookin pretty clean
