Agree, even on HOF pitching I am rarely behind in the counts and veteran definitely doesn't work as well with these sliders on hitting.

Well the 2 games I played doing full games I was using the pitching sliders from Armor with his pitching control, consistency and strike frequency. It went pretty good.

I am debating on starting my franchise over with some new rosters. Right now I'm using OSFM's version of it but with real salaries. I have been reading that it affects the morale and free agency in the off season. They uploaded a new roster with default salaries that are better.

Do you do 30 team roster control? I am doing it for the first time. I noticed if I don't there are some teams that don't start their top players. Royals don't start Moustakas and Indians don't play Santana.

I haven't looked into that, does it slow down sim time much?

I use A & S sim sliders so after my game I load the sim sliders go to the calendar and view the day's games and sim each one except for your game. Then load my game sliders and play my game. You do that before you play so that way you have the in game sticker to show the scores (I don't look at the scores as I sim and the in game sticker shows the scores as they are playing at the same time as you like usual).

The only pain in the butt thing was when the season started to set all the lineups. I have everything set to auto except for 40 man roster and lineups. After that you pretty much only control your team if you want and when someone goes on the DL it will pop up saying they have a invalid lineup so you can go and update it.

That is good stats. I know I'm batting .260 and my ERA was like 4.10 a couple games ago. Lester had 2 bad starts to make that high.

Re: BYU 14's "Old Guy" quick count sliders for The Show 17

Game 11 Yankees 7-4

STL 0-3-0
NY 1-8-0

Finally a 9 inning pitchers dual. Tanaka and Martinez traded 0's before we scratched out a run on small ball in the 6th. Holliday singled, Bird drew a walk, Headley sac bunt, then Aaron Judge singled into RF hitting behind the runners to plate the only score.

Tanaka went 7, 3 hits, 0 runs, 1 BB, 7 K's and Chapman picked up his first save of the season.

No extra base hits in this one by either team, which was great to see.
I drew 3 walks and fanned 3 times
Overall I walked 2 Cardinals and struck out 9.

Who pitched for the Cardinals? How long did he go? Did you do the trick?
