re: MLB The Show 17 Impressions

Anyone else think some of the curves on balls in play are a little too extreme? Just popped up a pitch on the third base side of the diamond and it curved so much it went towards the first base side and was then caught.

Even some balls to the outfield seem to be way too extreme of a curve.

My favorite thing so far is the tagging. Add so much to the game and commentary. Playing in Baltimore and absolutely crushed one off the Warehouse and to have them comment on that and say "OH Man that bounced off the Warehouse" is just nuts.

Not on default. That could be why. Good point. Was using a slider set from 16 that had wind a few clicks up from default. Just put it back to default.

Something to note in RTTS. Just doing some test simming and we are no longer being notified of when the team you are on makes trades.

re: MLB The Show 17 Impressions

Only got thru one game so far but the game feels great.

The new ball physics really promotes extra base hits. I've seen a lot of balls land in the gaps and curve down the line. Just awesome.

For anyone that wants to play with analog pitching it seems a bit more difficult this year. I am pitching on legend with slider adjustments but I'm definitely don't have the same command I had a couple days ago with the same sliders in 16.

What difficulty are you playing on? Are you finding the CPU hitters to be challenging more often than not?

I'm playing on legend. The hitters seem to be more patient and take more advantage of mistakes. I think I'm walking guys as a result of trying not to get burnt
