Why does a big man have access to a hop back like that? It's so stupid.

Re: NBA 2K17 Pro-Am Discussion Thread

I really don't have a problem with the sharpshooter's abilities at all. I've played alot of park, and pro am so far and only like 2 sharpshooters I've come across have been a problem for me. They are a 1 trick pony. Their 1 trick is REALLY good, but then again so is every archetype if in the hands of a high IQ, skilled player.

Anyways, the blueprint is already out for dealing with sharpshooters. You play tight, and smother them, and run them off the 3 pt line at all costs. If you do that you're gonna be fine 90% of the time.

I've held most sharpshooters I've been matched up against to pedestrian games scoring wise and fg % wise; as have most of my teammates.

This dude is hilarious. He speaks the truth too. 2k needs to let these YouTubers who try to cheese the game come and play early. So they can fix this before release. I still don't understand how devs don't catch this kind of stuff during play testing.

What's up guys our pro am team the Wolfpack on ps4 are currently recruiting power forwards to fit into our defensive and offensive systems right now we are about 26-13 and are sitting at elite but we are lacking size at the 4 position and have been getting killed on the boards lately if you can help out in these areas > running the floor, somewhat stretching the floor, and boxing out on both ends add me on ps4 stackinbredx23 or leave your psn and I will get back to you also due to our work schedules we usually play late on eastern standard time 11:30 pm into the morning so keep that in mind when replying thanks hope to hear from some of ya soon!

Re: NBA 2K17 Pro-Am Discussion Thread

finally off work and have had an opportunity to catch up on posts..

ive said repeatidly that id wish they'd remove badges altogether - but we have to understand that the 2k community is SO diverse. kids like 5, 6, 7, and 8 are playing the same game as 30,40,50, and 60 year olds (yea my uncle and i go AT IT and im in my mid 30s).

badges when not cheesed can be used to further individulaize players - but, when is ANY videogame not cheesed?

my suggestion is to separerate our online myplayers from offline play (as many have suggested here)

the only way you get an attribute bar is for 5 consecutive A- or better graded games. your progession bar goes down a bit when you have a D+ or lower graded game.

as for badges, when you do something badge worthy in an online mode park/proam you earn progress towards that badge. for example- corner specialist...if you hit a corner 3, you earn 5 points towards the bronze badge, miss a corner 3 and you lose 3 points from that same badge.

this way only the elite of a certain skill will have that badge in gold or silver and its earned through real competition and not making us all cheese mycareer ( not all of us do it, but the vast majority wanna max our myplayer out and give somebody the business lol)

just an idea that im sure would have to be vetted out - as i said personally, i dont want badges but i understand ppl like things to light up and feel a sense of accomplishment, im cool with it.
i just hope they continue to progress in terms of making a truly balanced online experience.

i got faith in you 2k! been riding the wave since the original 2k on dreamcast - and ill keep riding. just want things to continue getting better as they are - IMO.

idk, but if it is...
2k needs to "borrow" it AND however they were able to incorporate different body types for our myplayer LMAO!!
