others:
Asik (on the trading block)

Re: NBA 2K14 How's Your Association Going?

I started a Charlotte Bobcats game last night and made a 3 way trade and would like your thoughts:

Charlotte recieve: Derrick Favors and Alec Burks

Utah recieve: Ramon Sessions, Josh McRoberts and 2014 and 2015 First Round picks (Charlotte) and 2015 Second Round pick (Houston)

Houston Recieve: Jannero Pargo

I have also singed PG Darius Morris as a free agent to back up Walker.

Coincidentally played and beat Houston 115-88 in out season opener with MKG shutting down Harden who scored 4pts and had 2asts whilst finishing width 15pts, 6rbs, 2asts and 4stls. Dwight Howard got 29pts and 19rbs. Alec Burks was Player of the Game though with 38pts, 5rbs, 5asts and 1stl.

C - Al Jefferson
PF - Derrick Favors
SF - Michael Kidd-Gilchrist
SG - Alec Burks
PG - Kemba Walker
6th - Gerald Hendersonville

Re: NBA 2K14 How's Your Association Going?

Decided to do a slow rebuild of the Bucks, through the draft, smart signings, managing cap space, etc.. I'm 13 games into the 2014-15 season with a 4-9 record. Here's my team..

PG: Marcus Smart 18.3 PPG/5.9 RPG/4.7 APG/1.1 SPG (Drafted 10th overall)
SG: OJ Mayo 22.0 PPG/2.7 RPG/3.3 APG
SF: Giannis Antetokounmpo 10.2 PPG/4.9 RPG/4.4 APG/1.5 SPG/0.8 BPG
PF: John Henson 10.2 PPG/10.3 RPG/1.7 BPG
C: Larry Sanders 9.0 PPG/7.0 RPG/1.0 APG/1.4 SPG/1.2 BPG INJURED

6th Man
G: Gary Neal 9.4 PPG/1.3 RPG/1.0 APG

Role Players
G: Kent Bazemore 6.8 PPG/2.4 RPG/1.9 APG/0.7 SPG CURRENTLY STARTING (Signed 3 yrs $10 million in offseason)
F: Reggie Evans 2.7 PPG/6.7 RPG (Acquired via trade)
G: Nate Wolters 5.8 PPG/3.5 APG/1.5 RPG
F: Doug McDermott 4.4 PPG/1.0 RPG (Drafted 2nd Rd 3rd pick)
C: Isaiah Austin 2.2 PPG/2.2 RPG (Drafted 9th overall via trade with BKN)
C: Bernard James 1.0 PPG/0.7 RPG (Signed minimum contract in offseason)

Inactive/Injured
F: Ersan Ilyasova (Tore MCL last season, out 6-8 more weeks)

I feel like I have a pretty balanced rebuilding team with a solid balance of young players with established role players. Larry Sanders sprained his neck after 5 games, so it'll be easier when he's back, and then throwing Ersan back into the mix should make it interesting. I plan on trying to fight for a low seed in the east, and continuing to rebuild.

*Toney Douglas-Broken Foot 6-8 Weeks
**Andre Iguodala-Recovering from Sprained Ankle

So the Warriors this month bring in young gun Jodie Meeks and Shawne Williams and get rid of two of there 5 centers and a SF. Green did not like the club so we traded him and now we have signed Lamar Odom as a PF/SF player on a $1.33M/1 Year deal with a player option and a NTC so he will slip into the rotation nicely. Then in a good idea i took a chance and got rid of Meeks and Jermaine O'Neal who are both on expiring contracts and Meeks was not happy with his role and O'Neal is at old age 35 and then traded in Matt Barnes a 33 Year old with a great 3 point shot and also got an even younger player with C Byron Mullens, both players are good and Barnes has 2 years on his contract and Mullens has a cheap expiring deal. Ill be back with more news tomorrow and will do December as well.

Re: NBA 2K14 How's Your Association Going?

Still chugging along as Portland, sitting at 36-24 on the season and in the #5 spot in the West behind the LA Clippers (35-27), Houston (37-23), San Antonio (39-22) and Oklahoma City (41-20). Stats wise Im not doing bad, made some trades along the way, nothing drastic and more because in most cases the players were complaining about playing time and their morale had bottomed out. I dealt away Robin Lopez, Mo Williams, Earl Watson and Wesley Matthews (More because I just couldnt get his shot down and wanted to make room for McCollum since he was bitching about playing time anyways). I brought in Jerryd Bayless, Ed Davis, Marco Belinelli and signed Marcus Camby to try and get some sort of inside presence on defense. Through 60 games here are the stats....
