SMACKDOWN BRAND CHAMPIONSHIP NEWS

On the heels of the announcement from Monday Night RAW regarding their tournaments Shane McMahon has come out to announce their upcoming tournaments.

In regading to the Smackdown Championship there will be 18 men who wil compete for the title. This tournament goes in line with the Smackdown philosophy of giving everyone a chance.

The men will be split into 3 6-person groups and compete this week in 3 battle royals to seed their groups.

After the battle royals there will be 1 on 1 matches within the groups, followed by Triple Threat semi finals matches and a triple threat finals.

GROUP 1: John Cena, CM Punk, Damien Sandow, Wade Barrett, Sheamus, Bo Dallas
GROUP 2: AJ Styles, Daniel Bryan, Cesaro, The Miz, Tyler Breeze, and Mike Bennett
GROUP 3: Dolph Ziggler, Cody Rhodes, Drew Galloway, Finn Balor, Baron Corbin, and Curtis Axel

The Smackdown Women's Championship wil be similar in fashion.
There will be 2 fatal 4-way matches to figure seeding for the tournament.
The winners of each will be placed as #1 seeds on opposite sides of the bracket. The losers of the fall will be placed as #4 seeds against the #1 seed they did not compete against.
The other 4 will be randomly placed in the brackets

The participants are:
Paige, Becky Lynch, Gail Kim, AJ Lee, Naomi, Alicia Fox, Emma, and one other woman who is in negotiations to make her return to WWE.

The tag tournament will be competed between 8 teams with specifics to be determined:
The following 6 teams have been confirmed for the tournament:
American Wolves (Davey Richards/Eddie Edwards)
Lucha Dragons (Sin Cara/Kalisto)
The Usos (Jimmy/Jay)
Balor Club (Karl Anderson/Luke Gallows)
The Vaudevillains (Aiden English/Simon Gotch)
The Ascension (Konnor/Viktor)
There are still 2 open spots for the tournament.

They aren't necessarily all round robin. Each one is a bit unique to itself.

Some are first round battle royals that will seed them in the regular tournament. But yeah I think this will bring some unique storylines on SD which I am pushing as the show of opportunity.

RAW is going to be a bit more traditional.

Hey man I know this is reserved for your universe but I need some help with the CAW search. I see your using some TNA wrestlers in your universe....could you help me find good ones, either by superstar name or creator name? Everytime I type in TNA or RoH is doesn't really give me much. And searching for teams is even worse.

Hoping I can possibly get my first post draft show simmed and typed tomorrow before heading out of town until Saturday night. Things at school should slow down a bit heading into Thanksgiving break but we will see. Heading out of town for Thanksgiving so no shows for those days either. Hoping to get through May by the end of the month. I have some ideas but also going to let some of my brand tournaments play out to start some rivalries. Got some ideas for teams forming and some turns as well.
