Youth Academy Player Watch

Charlie Cook - 16 year old English academy player who can play RM, RW or RB. Wolters is very high on this kids potential and sees him as a future star. His speed, dribbling ability and height make him a great prospect for QPR who are in desperate need to get younger in the future.


"We know the right side of the pitch is a weakness and we are looking to improve on that. Playing wingers out of place just to fill in spots can work for a short period but over time that is going to bite us. We need to bring in players who fit our style, play the positions we need and can win us games. I believe Charlie has the potential to be that player."


Wolters has not commented on how soon he plans to bring Cook in but rumors are he has been practicing with the first team players and doing the drills watched by Wolters. With the transfer window being a few months away and QPR needing a spark, Charlie Cook could be the answer.
