Who says it is wasted? I think you get to pick up to 10 guys. If you do only pick, say 4, why not give a vote to a guy that will probably not be on the ballot again.

Also, when was Mike Piazza implicated for PEDs? I must've missed it. I don't remember it coming up when he was playing, is it just coming up now because of the era he played in?

I think the worst part is that I don't know whether to be angry, sad, disgruntled...all of the above....just wtf...a who decade of baseball, I grew up in the heart of just got a big FU from the BBWA and there's not a damn thing I can do about it...
