I'm okay with this, I feel like the organization is consciously moving as far away from the Whaley/Rex experience as they can. If some of the crazy hype is anywhere close to being true I can see Peterman being the starter in the '18 or '19 season.

Hey that rookie scale is hard to beat when it comes to bringing in players. Not only that the new SD coach or assistant had ties to Jones from Buffalo so he probably got his way with the signing.
