What has he done to even warrant that argument?

I bought in to the "He will revolutionize" the position pre-draft hype. Never happened. Tremendous athlete, mediocre QB.

For reason's beyond the football argument, please pick a new player.

We don't need to have an argument/debate we've had time and time again.

I don't do this often, but as a mod, I'm asking you to pick a new player.

Yeah that philosophy has really worked out for the Raiders.

Well there were the few rushing seasons, but yeah. I do believe he will forever be in the Madden Hall of Fame though, or Hall of Cheese, if you like.

I think we need better players to debate. I know I'm not the guy, but if I could recommend Champ Baily?

I mean seriously? Someone in this thread tried to state Lechler had a bigger impact on his teams success than someone like Jerry Kramer, or Terrell Davis or Drew Pearson? Are we being serious here?

It's the Hall of Fame.
So by your logic a NFL coach should not make it when they dont play in any plays at all?

I believe kickers/punters should be in the Hall of Fame. They play in the NFL and are under the same rules that every other player are under.
