Wow looks very nice. As long as going to Aggressive or Agile mode isn't cheesy.
EDIT: I know agile mode is default, I didn't have my sound on the first time I watched it lol.

That looks really good. Agile mode is on by default.

Great Find! Coincidentally, I just asked about this in another thread 2 minutes ago.

Now that is some real football right there friends. Gotta get up for this game. Pressed and hardpressed in all different directions with emotion.

I'm waiting for one of the naysayers to mention how that QB doesn't have to worry about getting hurt by the LineBacker-does have to worry about losing the ball however.

They did not mention hold down in aggressive mode to protect the ball, but it's there. What does focus mode do when running the ball?

But focus mode also works for ball carriers, which is where things might get interesting with some tweaks. The way it works now, engaging focus mode as a ball carrier will put the focus on the nearest threat (read: the nearest defensive player set to make a tackle). It's interesting in theory and can be disconcerting at first in practice; because your nearest threat is often behind you (especially as a wide receiver on a long pass), the camera will often swing completely around. As a result, if you leave the left trigger held down and move the stick, you'll start running in the opposite direction of where you should be going. With enough practice, you'll presumably learn to use the focus mode only in quick bursts as a ball carrier--showing any nearby threats and then reacting accordingly. If focus mode is used intelligently (and the camera reacts quickly enough without giving you motion sickness in the process), it might be a decent fix for the peripheral vision problem in Backbreaker.

Keep in mind this was from a March 1st article and since then the DEVS have said that they are 100% satisfied with the flexible camera which has undergone numerous tweaks. It seems that focus mode is best used judiciously whether running or passing.

Thanks Jaybee, sounds interesting but I doubt I'd ever use it.

I think it's there for a reason, so I'll never say never-certainly a certain amount of dexterity will be needed using focus mode while shoulder barging in agressive mode. (Hold both triggers down, RightStick UP)...........at least in the heat of the moment. Impressed by the control system.

that was a cool vid. The stiff arm is SICK! the ball carrier's arm absorbs the contact of the defender pushing it against his body then pushes off!!!! It look so real/ "NATURAL". This game is going to very exciting because its unpredictable

This +1000. The interactions just look so natural, it blows me away.

Looks great to me. Kudos to Natural Motion on how "real" running mechanics should go.

very very clever use of the right stick and the triggers, kudos NaturalMotion!

I wonder if it would be possible to jump on the pile rather than dive. Like just run up the back of your O-Line. Haha I guess with Euphoria anything is possible.

I like the goal line dive in the vid. He basically just jumps right into his own lineman and the two of them pancake the dlineman #97 into the endzone. Something you don't see in other games.

This is the most innovative control scheme in the history of football games-add to it the physics angle, and I think we have a leg up to Backbreaker busting the 1 Million mark.

Watch the 2nd to last play, right at the end there is a lineman blocking a defender right behind the ball carrier and the defender is trying to get low but ends up getting pushed right to the ground and basically sat on. That's a nice looking play I see on Sundays all the time but have never seen in a video game.

Another thing I noticed is that Strawberry Shortcake posted a while back about the lineman doing a stalemate "tango" dance. I didn't see any of that in this vid, the blocking overall looked very fluid compared to earlier vids.

Absolutely-incredible video that shows the unlimited potential of this game.
