Madden NFL 17 Features Focus on Franchise Mode & More - Bundle Info & 2 Screenshots

Madden NFL 17 will feature a renewed focus on Franchise mode, all-new ball carrier feedback cues, defender fake out mechanics and an innovative, authentic defensive AI system.

As seen on the Xbox site, Rob Gronkowski appears to be the cover athlete, however that might be a placeholder. The first screenshots revealed are with him, Antonio Brown and Von Miller. Could we see all 3 on the cover or multiple covers? We will know for sure today at 6:00 PM ET on SportsCenter.

I am going to throw out this blanket statement and I certainly hope it's not being judged for it's silly content, it's not intended to.

There will be certain parts of the whole game that all 6 million people who purchase the game won't be happy with.

DD- Yeah, I know they are being vague, but that's the way the roll before the news starts trickling out.

Dang man lol I feel bad for you. You should've mentioned this as an issue for you a long time ago. Holding L2 for the precision modifier and using the stiff arm doesn't work. That's one way for you to start celebrating which will likely cause a fumble when tackled.

But either way, the stiff arm didn't work well regardless, even with 99 stiff arm.

happy to hear about franchise and all that, but I'm about gameplay, gameplay, gameplay. That's your foundation and it's gotta be in tact.

im happy to hear that the focus is on franchise mode, as that is what I play the most. But I really feel like the franchise mode has grown stale in recent versions of madden. I really hope they bring back Create a team for Franchise mode so we can make custom leagues of pro, college, or High school football, as this is what I have the most fun doing... even if you arent interested in full custom leagues, you could still have more creativity in your relocated or expansion teams by not choosing from a list of predetermined cities and mascots and uniforms. Does anyone think we may possibly see this?

I think it's safe to say that i can't really contribute more than what's already been said in this thread. However, and i'm generally alone on this, but, pretty please, with sugar on top please full access to our franchise via the web, and if for any reason perhaps make it possible for us to continue our current franchise from iteration to iteration.

I haven't picked up my game control since about the super bowl at this stage, but reading this today, is getting me pretty excited for tonight's content release.

Good things are coming our way!

things I would like to see.

-editing prospects before season
-give commissioner of online leagues more power and don't want forced games scoring 70 points and giving up 3
-upgraded fantasy draft maybe like a different layout
- don't want to see top round guys in free agents after preseason
-scouting not so boring and make it harder
- if I turn off visual feedback why does the other members still get to use it.
- let me turn off super sim for everyone in the settings please
-auto subs that work

- Working auto subs
- Formation subs added back in
- Updated/new equipment

Give me all of those and Ill play the **** out of Madden 17!

I have been indifferent towards Madden since CFM was introduced. I'd usually scan for info on Franchise during their initial news rollout then move on until August when I buy the game because it's Madden. Now, I'm legit excited about this years edition.

and generated rookies to not have unrealistic helmets like qb shouldnt have full cage and don't want shoulder pads like 5 inches off the shoulders like the 80's

I care about both and it's perfectly fine. One doesn't have to be placed above the other when a team dedicated to each. The art team handles art and game dev team handles gameplay. Idk why the concept is so hard for some people to get

I would also like rookies who are coming in with dreads to have a picture of someone with dreads. It's immersion breaking for me. Or heck just tone down the amount of rookies coming in with dreads.
