The Washington State Cougars have found their new offensive coordinator. The man picked for the task is none other than 28 year old Pete Carter the former record breaking high school QB. The hire has came as a surprise to many as nobody had really heard the name being tossed around in the search but coach Leach who recruited Carter to play at Texas Tech before he his career was cut short due to injury really liked Carters football knowledge and thinks his style will fit well with the high tempo Air Raid offense that we all know the Cougars like to run.

Carter starts his journey with a polished Quarterback in Sr. Luke Falk and a formidable receiving core highlighted by Tavares Martin and Sr Robert Lewis, Hb James Williams is also expected to have a big role in the passing game lining up in the slot and beside Falk in the backfield.

The Cougars will start their season with a tough test at home against #6 ranked Penn State. Stay tuned!
