Ovechkin Highlights LEU in Advance 1

The first set of games is behind us in LEU, and we will highlight some of the main stories in the league!
-To nobody's surprise Alexander Ovechkin has started off with a bang, recording 10 points (4g,6a) in his first 5 games. tying himself with rising star Milan Michalek for the league lead in that category.
-The St. Louis Blues remain as the only undefeated team, with a 4-0 record. The young and defensive-minded Blues are showing the league they are no fluke, and will be contenders for seasons to come.
-The Edmonton Oilers are scoring at will, average 4.6 goals per game, with young phenom Taylor Hall leading the way with 2 goals and 7 helpers, putting him 2nd in the league with 9 points.
-Watch our for Ryan Kesler on the Powerplay, as he has already notched 4 power play goals on the Canucks, helping the most deadly powerplay in hockey execute at a rate which will make you think twice about that poke check!
-The Columbus Blue Jackets have set the tone for physical play this season, with the #1 (Fedor Tyutin- 32) and #2 (Jack Johnson-31) ranked players in body checks. The defensive pairing will be called on to stop top-lines for the remainder of the year.
-Next Years LEU's Salary Cap numbers have been released, as the Max has been set to 64.3 million and the Minimum set too 44.00 million
-REMEMBER TO PLAY YOUR BACKUP GOALTENDERS!! THEY MUST PLAY 15 GAMES THIS SEASON!!
