Madden NFL 10 Q&A: Day 1 Stuck
Posted on July 31, 2009 at 10:23 PM.
OK, let's see how well this works. Have a Madden NFL 10 question? Ask it here. Just one question. If I answer it, you can submit another. If you are not posting a question and your comment brings nothing to the table, it will be deleted.

With that said, fire away. I will hang around until midnight, EST.

Is there progressive lighting in Madden 10?

Are you able to get pressure on the QB more so than the GS Demo using a blitzing team like the steelers? I have a hard time getting to the QB. thank you

None, that I can see.

Is sorting through rookies to scout faster than last year or is there still a lot of pauses to load images, etc.?

Is there some sort of gameplan in the Franchise mode, where you can choose 3 plays out of your playbook and practice each play for 3 days, 10 times per practice?

If I'm controlling a guy that is blitzing, I'm having a hard time, yes. But sliders really do work this year, so adjusting them from default definitely helps. After adjustments, while you can't just go balls out all the time and get to the QB, it can be a lot less frustrating to get there.

Much faster w/ the new hub.

With mini drills out of franchise mode is there any way to progress a backup QB without playing him?... and if there isn't does he regress while sitting on the bench?

Nope, nothing like that.

I really have no idea how that works. But obviously, not everyone gets playing time in the game, so during the offseason when players get or lose player ratings, you just won't see much of an improvement/decline when looking at the adjustments. (if that makes sense)

With the stretched player ratings being implemented this year, do you feel that the players have a greater sense of individualism?

Do the stars stand out from the rest? Do the sub-par players feel like a liability?

Thanks.

I haven't played the demos, since I have the full build, but to answer your question, there are a few instances where momentum defies logic, I guess you could say. For the most part though, in Pro-Tak, I'd say that is done very well.

What is your opinion of the pre, half and post game shows in comparison to NFL 2K5?

Just straight up, inevitable issues aside, and in your own un-biased opinion....is Madden 10 THE NFL game to own period up to this point?
