I moved up to Level 3 of the dungeon today and drew the Wyvern which I was very fortunate to defeat. I'm currently working with nearly all my starting armor and weapons, so not very well equipped for it I think. Going up a level to 5 from the Wyvern and subsequent healing from the djinn have got my close to max hp's, but if were unlucky and drew something like the Efreet, I'd be dead for sure.

I don't think we are that close anymore after mapping things out. If we both backtrack and get our movements right, we can meet in three days.

I can post the map stuff if you think it is worthwhile, but it would probably make it easier for the ghouls to eat you after they finish Danny.

Searching was useful PB. Only one object (mage scroll) and some gold, but not bad. And there was a trap, so it worked out that I had those spells left.

Did using the apparatus a second time work? Did the item it gave out turn out to be decent? I'm going to try using it this morning. If it worked for you a second time, maybe you can give a conditional order to use it as well if it doesn't block me from using it, as I'm not sure there's any other useful action you can take in the room this morning otherwise.

Based on our combined finds, I'm leaning towards forward.

If you do not think Ineed much of the profit from that chest that is understandable. rememberthat the darts only paid off 300 total. I am fine splitting up the value of the chest evenly, so that we all profit the same, but we need to negotiate "opening fees" beforehand. I could just as easily throw out a "finder's fee" right now, because I found that chest by searching the room with the Chitine in it (from before we ran into you).

I appreciate that you discounted the value of the ring in your figurings, but even at 300, only 100 of its value was yours by rights. 100 value of it should go to Ragone, too. The irony here, of course, is that primarily so far I have been using my extra spell from the ring healing you guys. ;)

Per my calculations, as we returned to the sarcophagus room from the yeti room, and looking at the old description of this room, if we go back, we go to the Yeti. If we go right (our presumed way now), we stay at the same level.

If we go left, we go down a level, and if we go forward, we also go down a level, and that's the way we originally came from (king of the throne room I believe).

CF, just in case you didn't know this already-you can Search a room more than once-that has paid off for me at least once now. At least gives you something to do.

I think I'm going to have to stay here and Bash the chest-if there's something in it for a recipe, I'll be kicking myself for missing it.
