I'd probably say detect evil. Luck could be useful. I don't see remove fear being incredibly important except for saving an ambush attack, unless there's some creature that makes you flee every round.

Avoiding cursed objects you can't ID is prob good though.

Nope, not at all. I had the name of the potion to go by.

I knew that the ingredients were Djinni and Efreet, which made me think it would be somewhat destructive.

I held off on using it because I didn't want to take a risk of blowing up Jackal when I felt like I was still in good position for a Top 5 finish. But after I had to flee a big tree, getting no XP, and wasting a day moving back I felt like I was slipping behind. That was coupled by what I saw other people getting from their encounters, and the lack of deaths ... just felt like it was a good time to shuffle the deck a bit.

If Abe had posted his rankings post 15 minutes earlier I probably would not have used it today, for what it is worth.

Also, are we good with 20% more difficult tomorrow than what we saw two days ago? I've lost one item from my inventory that I used last time against the Treant and haven't really replaced it ... I hope you've upgraded your capabilities a bit if we want to push ahead on this level and feel confident tomorrow.

No preference really, and I honestly haven't upgraded anything. Staff is decent but could probably use a better weapon. Would have been a quicker fight if the treant wasn't immune to acid though.

I, however, think you are looking at this wrong. I don't suspect the price goes up 2morrow on those pots.

I do suspect those pots will no longer be available and instead potions that heal more(and cost more) will be there in their place.

Let's call those potions of greater healing or some such.
