Sorry that I missed the deadlines but I was exhausted (very little sleep last night, damn insomnia) and fell asleep. There seemed to be a lot of changing after I laid down.

Didn't read the rules well enough yet to know. Is there a situation where the person being caught would know who caught them? If so, that would make perfect sense for a quick reveal; hoping to beat the other player to the punch. Granted thiscould work both ways (where the person doing the scanning would want the drop on the reveal).

Waiting until part of the way through the day would be the best route for a legit reveal (if there is not a mechanic to allow the person to know they were caught). Give the person that you caught a chance to post a little to see what else you can gain from that before outing them.

If pretty much makes day two completely useless as far as analyzing goes.

Add the 5.5% chance that they were randomly cured by the doctor immediately thereafter and we're at 26.9%. Add in the 11% chance that the Nurses found the bitten so the doctor will be able to cure them before the kill, we're at 37.9%. Finally, there's a 7.1% chance that the Nurses didn't find anything and that the doctor will still randomly succeed at curing the infected before they make another kill, bringing the strictly statistical probability of there being no nightkill tomorrow to around 45%. Very not bad.

Yes, but there might not be an infected now and even if that happens, it does get rid of an infected and prevent them from making a bite that night.

Narc, I would suggest not submitting your nightfall vote at all. If Chief is the cultist or mummy, he could submit his nightfall order at a time when bhlloy isn't around to give his N0 scan. I think that scan is more useful than has been suggested because we know that person wasn't one of the three starting wolves. Yeah they might be able to be converted later, but it removes the possibility that that person is one of the initial three we have to find. It makes for a dull day, but it makes sure we get the scan info from bhlloy at a time when the wolves won't be able to do something about it, assuming bhlloy can be around for the 10pm deadline.

So, Narc and GE, I recommend not voting nightfall.

Narc, I would suggest not submitting your nightfall vote at all. If Chief is the cultist or mummy, he could submit his nightfall order at a time when bhlloy isn't around to give his N0 scan. I think that scan is more useful than has been suggested because we know that person wasn't one of the three starting wolves. Yeah they might be able to be converted later, but it removes the possibility that that person is one of the initial three we have to find. It makes for a dull day, but it makes sure we get the scan info from bhlloy at a time when the wolves won't be able to do something about it, assuming bhlloy can be around for the 10pm deadline.

So, Narc and GE, I recommend not voting nightfall.

Good point about the value of positive scans at the start. Really the Mummy and transformers are all we should really be super-concerned about. Don't want to hold everyone up though.

Well, now that Chief has nightfall'ed, it's just you and GE, who at least are unknown rather than confirmed evil. So long as the last person to nightfall doesn't do it while bhlloy is out, it should be ok.

Basically if GE shows up while you're here and bhlloy is ok with the schedule, then we should be ok with nightfall, otherwise it might be wisest to wait.

I'm pretty skeptical that the chance of the other professor double scanning is worth giving out the info early but let me know what you guys think. Even in the unlucky case of a double scan, it would still be somewhat worthwhile as a guy who has been cleared on n0 might no longer be cleared on n2

On the other hand, if we strictly look at it as we are trying to catch the 3 evils who count, it doesn't make a damn bit of difference when I reveal the info and if/when the name I name is converted. So those are my two conflicting viewpoints here. Thoughts?

Immediately the crowd turns on Chief Rum and the day consists instead of a harried hunt throughout the complexes for the man. He leads a wild chase, and several times people almost come to blows upon surprising each other in dark corridors. But finally Chief Rum is found, and though he puts up a fierce fight, he is brought to a bloody end.

His body is searched and the medical staff checks him out. As she peers into the microscope Nurse Michaelson gasps. "He was Infected!" she says, covering her mouth in shock. "Look at this," someone else announces. In his pocket was the beginning of a love letter, addressed simply to "My dear..."
